Google Responds
The fine folks over at the Google Blog have responded to questions and complaints of political slant regarding the top Google results for the “failure” and “miserable failure” search keywords.
It’s interesting to note how the page ranking works in this process; but interestingly, the ranking of “failure” and “miserable failure” has been attributed to a prank by webmasters.
How about an alternate view . . . a large number of webmasters may feel that George Bush is a “failure” and have provided links on their websites accordingly. It seems that Google is doing just what it was designed to do. Wow, now the right-wingers are starting to get a paranoia complex . . . just what is this world coming to?
