I just turned on the TiVo . . .
and was greeted by a new message from DirecTV. They have activated channel 100 via satellite to distribute hurricane relief information. What really caught my eye was the scroll along the lower quarter of the screen. There is a continuous stream of messages from individuals and families seeking missing loved ones . . . it’s heartbreaking, it actually brought tears to my eyes . . . I mean, it seems that the disaster is so far away, until you really see the human aspect of it.
