What Were They Thinking???
No, really . . . what was BIC thinking when they designed this product?
I actually found this on the rack next to the checkout at my local Safeway. (I’ll try and get a clearer picture the next time I’m there)
Is this BIC’s way of shamming TSA inspectors into allowing their product onto aircraft? (How dare they take away your “Patriot Edition” lighter!!) Do they think this will make people think twice before torching the American flag?
Nope, just another disgusting way that big business is capitalizing on the terrorist attacks and the war in Iraq! Why should the defense contractors get all the love?
My question is . . . WHY? I guess there’s nothing more patriotic then lighting your American made cigarettes with a lighter depicting a military service man in full attention and the American flag.
